Design :
We can not help noticing some similarities between the Touch and the Apple iPhone, especially the large screen and touch-based navigation, called TouchFLO. Touch, however, have a lower resolution screen (240 by 320 pixels) than the iPhone, and the selection key has a thin bezel that functions as a four-way controller. Two unmarked shortcut buttons to the Today screen and phone are also below the screen.
Touch is locked in matte black, which, beyond the screen to attract the stain marks - but probably less than a glossy finish. The edge of silver at the hidden power button, volume rocker, loop cord, stylus, SIM card slot, microSD slot and USB port - used for loading, synchronization with a PC or with the included headset. The back of the device is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera.
HTC Touch II Handset Features :
Touch is also one of the first Windows Mobile 6 device we've found that adds some subtle but useful additions to the operating system. Have a facelift to match Windows Vista, including Microsoft Direct Push technology to keep your e-mail sync with Exchange Server client Live Messenger instant messaging.
While touch is a touch on the side of Slim, the exclusion of a QWERTY keyboard, either below the screen as a Palm Treo 750 or less (at the i-mate JASJAR's) text input medium through the screen is slow and tedious. See you can use this as your phone, can be thwarted if an SMS or e-mail addict.
Performance :
It may take some users a while to get used to TouchFLO, which requires slow movements with reasonable pressure, so you can recognize a command. While prestige should be given to HTC for attempting to add functionality based on the finger touches a PDA, the limited functions that can be done with a finger means that you have to switch to the pen for almost all applications when they are elected . In Touch is the first device from HTC TouchFLO to present, we expect improvements in future devices. We hope this will be the case, TouchFLO more useful tool thoughtful rather than what it feels like a last-minute addition (and an attempt to steal the iPhone). We would also like to see added multi-touch support of Windows Mobile-based devices in the future.
