ASUS Australia has announced the launch of its latest handheld game G51J 3D, the world's first laptop to use 3D technology NVIDIA's vision for a totally different game and multimedia experience.
The new ASUS laptop using 3D vision technology from NVIDIA, which has a pair of 3D Vision active shutter glasses with a wide range of infrastructure, red emitter. This allows stereoscopic images, which according to ASUS, offering clarity, brightness and depth of field at full resolution without any viewing angle limitations.
ASUS is clearly hopes the 3D technology to take off, especially in the category of games that already has up to 400 games that are compatible out of the box with 3D Vision. Some recent titles supporting the technology include Resident Evil 5, Borderlands, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Litch King, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Star Trek CAD.
"NVIDIA is excited about the world's first laptop from ASUS Vision 3D," said Phil Eisler, general manager of 3D Vision business unit at NVIDIA.
"The portable 3D ASUS G51J set the standard by which portable 3D games, and will be judged. Kudos to ASUS to achieve this monumental milestone.
It G51J 3D is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor at 1.6 GHz mobile with Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz, also features in Windows 7 Professional, and has a 15.5 "HD LED-backlit display and available for a suggested retail price of $ 3499.
