After Samsung, Nokia, LG and Spice Mobile, Acer is adding to the "low-end phone with touch screen market with the launch of its latest phone, E-101 beTouch.
The device is powered by a 528MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM, enough to run smoothly in the new Windows Mobile 6.5, complete with software add-ons as Pocket Office.
The large 3.2 inch touchscreen, 65K colors at 240x400 pixels, which would mean that images are not as sharp as most people like them, but would be sufficient, however. During the screen, you will find a scroll wheel (like iPod), which helps make navigation easier.
On the back of the phone is 2 megapixel camera but lacks autofocus and LED flash. It can record video, but all of which can be stored on a microSD card.
