Position - Vacancies – Payscale :
Clerk cum Cashier(Clerical cadre) – 1040 posts – (Rs.4410 - Rs.13210)

The vacancies are divided for each state & candidate must choose a particular state for posting.The candidate must appear for test from that state`s exam centre only.

Payment of Fees to be made between – Oct 1 to Oct 30 2009 only

Expected date of Written Examination – 10.01.2010 (Jan 10th 2010)

Eligibility : To apply for the clerk post in Union bank of India,

Age of the candidate – between 18yrs to 28 yrs

1. Must have passed in First class (60% or above) in HSC or 12th or PUC

OR

1. Must be a graduate in any degree (any class) from UGC recognized university
2. Computer Awareness and Office Automation Course from computer training institute is necessary(candidates with computers in degree level need not submit certificate)
3. Should be able to read/write/speak the official language of the state you choose

Candidates must possess the above qualifications as on 30.09.2009,so final year students/waiting results are not eligible to apply.

Selection :

The selection process will include Written test (Objective & Objective Test on Computer Knowledge) , based on which the candidates would be ranked & selected for Interview .The Objective test will be for 200 marks & there is negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

How to apply :

Candidates interested to apply must pay the application fees of Rs.300(General/OBC) or Rs.0(No fees for SC/ST) in cash at any of the Union bank of India branches only between from Oct 1st – Oct 31st & obtain the receipt of payment along with the transaction ID.

After payment,candidates have to apply online through Union bank of India website by quoting the receipt number in the application form on or before 31.10.2009 & take 2 printouts,which has to be submitted at the time of Interview.
