First Official Selections for AFI Fest 2009
AFI Fest 2009 has made public the first twelve films in its official selections. Among the titles, announce on Wednesday, September 16.
AFI Festival has unveiled its first official markings, with a dozen films, including Lee Daniels "Precious: Based on a novel by Sapphire Push", "Werner Herzog's Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" and Bong Joon-ho's"Mother".
The lineup also French / Italian co-productions, "prophet" and "Vince" Claude Chabrol "Bellamy", "Maren Ade from any other, season of Michael Hoffman," The Last "by Ken Loach" Looking for Eric, "Corneliu Porumboiu of "Police Adjective" in "Red Riding" trilogy of films by Julian Jarrold, James Marsh and Anand Tucker, and "Harmony Korins hobbled trash."
"These first twelve titles offer a wonderful view of our line is a study of major films in years," says festival artistic director Rose Kuo. "They represent a diversity of voices, and we are very proud to bring to the hearing in Los Angeles for the first time."
