Kate Winslet won the award in the awards this year for his role in The Reader. An associate of the Academy said: "This is just emerging that there is a marked lack of possibilities in the category of Best Actress." Not that there have been terrible performances, much less, it's just that there have been some good leading roles for women. "He added:" It was a year rather boring for the cinema in general, but it seems that nobody has written anything decent leadership roles for women.
He continued: "It seems that Meryl Streep can do it again, as he has played the principal role in the recognition of two movies this year."
