2 Firefighters Killed Battling California Wildfire

Two firefighters from the Los Angeles County were killed Sunday when their vehicle rolled down a hill in the midst of the intense flames of a wildfire that threatened 12,000 homes. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger asked the fire will flare out as ash fall on cars from as far away as downtown Los Angeles, the spread in all directions in dry conditions.

Fire looks at the east side of rapid fire, where flames licked at the foot of a vital communications center and astronomy at Mount Wilson, and northwestern front, where two firefighters died at Mount Gleason near Acton Town.

"We ask for your understanding, your patience as we move through this difficult time, and remember that prayers for the families of our brothers who have lost," said county Assistant Fire Chief Mike Bryant through tears at a conference Press on Sunday afternoon.

The fire broke out yesterday afternoon, was the oldest of the burning of many parts of California, including a new fire in northeast Plaza Sacramento County, destroying 60 structures. Firefighters were pulled from the top of the hill after clearing and satellite aerosol products, because it was too dangerous to stay. "We have made every preparation, we can," county fire, said spokesman Mark Savage.
